Try the Skateshoe...

Video is incredible.
The fatter wheels may be what the Mack needed.

Heelynut, did you just openly recommend a pair of Crappies on the General forum?

*Eyes narrow, hands clench, background goes dark...*

Kame-hame-CESSPIT!

Also, vid is not incredible. Vid is quick-cuts artificially sped up. And the bearings (do they HAVE any?) are so incredibly fucktastic that he has to go on a San Francisco downhill just to cruise for any length of time.

Oh well, I'm sure Heelys' patent lawyers are hungry.

Has Jcardin eaten your soul HN?

I remember seeing that about a year ago. They look better than crappies, but I wouldn't say they were incredible. The video is ok, but it doesn't show anything heelys can't do.

Ditto. But nope, I don't miss the Mack - is hard to miss them when I can see them right now. Very Happy

My only gripe about the mack would be the inner wheels getting caught together when tricking... you have to keep your legs further apart to compensate, so wider wheels would not be something I'd be looking for.

I remember that some kid thought that the Macks were all the sh!t when they first came out .. I was like .. uh .. If they made them like that, I'd stop skating right here right now.

Through some creative ninja-ing (pronounced 'Nin-jing').. TEC killed Macks .. dead.

I hope it never rears its ugly head.

I got pair of Macks from a friend who's son hated them. I never wear them, because they go about 6 inches with a running start with all my weight. Also I'm not really supposed to wear heelys at work and Macks are so obvious. I did use them to teach a few people the basics, because they were way scared of falling.

True .. not a bad teaching tool. "Tool", in its many meanings, being a key word there.
