Heelychat store / Halo-sport-inc.com has some size 9's Torches left. The last size 10 Torch was sold today.

Mervyns in my area use to sell lots of Heelys...but they're out of business, now (175 stores closed).
Sport Chalet (50 stores) is where I got my first pair 6.5 years ago. I saw them closing out their remaining stock last weekend.
Chicks Sporting Goods (15 So. Cal stores) use to sell lots but they got acquired by Dick's Sporting Goods and they don't carry any.
It's been a while since I've been in Sports Authority but on my last visit they had hardly any.
Journeys in my area use to carry some but very few now and only in a certain stores.
Big 5 Sporting Goods (382 stores) use to have lots but not any more.
Last Sat. I saw some new styles at Robert Wayne but only smaller sizes.
Finishline, in my area use to have lots but none, now.
Tilly's (100+ stores) use to sell Heelys too...none now.
Also, I rarely see anyone wearing them any more. This seems especially odd in So. Cal. which offers excellent Heelying opportunites year-round.
I first saw heelys at Disneyland and decided then that I wanted some.
This summer I went to Disneyland 3 times and saw Heelys on one girl, and 3 in a family all total.
I think that some good adds placed in primetime during shows that young adults watch could make a world of difference in their sales.
It's sad that HSL now has ample supply and no sales!

That's not what I said...
The Topic was relating to there not being any Heelys on the shelves of retail stores.
I was confirming that to be the case in my area.
New Heely styles are readily available on-line but many previous on-line retailers are closing them out or are already no longer selling them.
Also, I commented that I hardly see anybody wearing them any more.
Hopefully, HSL is selling them somewhere...
If not, they may soon go out of business (the HLYS stock price sure indicates that they're in trouble).
Perhaps someone close to Heelys Corporate can comment more on their future.
Fortunately, I have enough to last me the rest of my life...and beyond! |

Psssh, THAT's been rock-bottom for the past couple of years.
Look at their raw sales figures instead. In 2007, $123M in raw sales. First six months of 2008, $31M in raw sales.. first six months of 2009, $21M in raw sales.
Proportionally more of the sales are in Europe, too. The Euro wave has actually masked the drop in American revenue.
There's a word for this. Where I'm from we call it a DEATH SPIRAL. Heelys just got a new marketeer for CEO, too. The apparent lack of marketing leads me to conclude that a) he doesn't know what the hell he's doing, b) he's gotten into something he can't handle, and/or c) CSWC won't give him the resources to do what he needs to do.
Well, hell, he's on the *board* now. Unless he's just there to fill space, we ought to see some sort of revival happen...
