Mwahaha finally chapter 11 haha. It seems short but paragraphs are long. I also used "" Very Happy

The Big Deal
Chapter 11

It had been about two weeks since Seth and his dad didnt talk. His dad had eventually felt sorry for punishing Seth and putting him on skateboard probation. Finally he decided to take Seth out for lunch to talk with him. Seth was reluctant to go but eventually he gave in to his father. As Seth was getting ready to go he was thinking of all kinds of crazy thoughts that his dad might have in mind to talk to him about. One thought was that he would go crazy about his new sport od heelys. Another thought would be that the family buisness has gone in the wrong direction. Seth didnt know what was going on but he threw his black shirt and shorts on, thre his toxics on and went out the door.

He went out into the black truck to wait for his dad. He gazed down at his toxics with seriousness. He then looked at the ceiling and said to himself "man...what if he does want me to stop wearing and riding heelys?" As his dad was walking down the porch Seth walked out of the car and rolled to his dad. "Dad, I want to say this now and get things straight. I dont know why you are taking me out to lunch and I don't know what you have to tell me. But I'm saying it right now, if you ask me or demand me to stop heeling I will not. I will disobey you and continue with the things I like if you like it or not." Mike just stared at him very confused. "Seth, it has nothing to do with you stopping with your heelys. Do what you like." He then smiled and said, "ok? So come on. I have your skateboard in my truck and I have a surprise for you after lunch.

They went out to a small restaurant about 10 minutes away from their house. They were seated and ordered two burgers and cokes. Seth began playing with his straw as his dad began to talk. "So Seth, I know you have an intererest in Heelys." When Seth heard this he thought in his head that his dad had tricked him. "And I am totaly and completely cool with that." Seth's head then calmed down when his dad said that sentance. He then listened completely with no thoughts. "So I thought I'd make you a deal. Now when you hear it you have to agree because if you dont then yo wont only be letting yourself down, but you will be letting severaly other people down as well." Seth made a puzzled face and finally relplies, "Umm, just continue." His dad had then handed over his cell phone to Seth and told him to listen to the current messege that was on his phone. Seth listened and eventually he heard Haileys voice. the messege went:

"Umm, Hey Mike. My names Hailey, you might know me from heeling with you son Seth. Well pretty much what I wanted to ask you was if me and the rest of Team Heelys could do a demo down at Comlink Skatepark. Now I am not sure if you allow heelys in but if you just give us a quick chance and just 5 or 6 hours of skate time that would be great. If you give us a chance make sure you tell Seth about it. We won't let you down if you give us this one opportunity. Please get back to me ASAP. Thanks for listening!

When the messege was done he closed the phone. "So dad...did you contact her back?" Mike then took the phone back and put it in his pocket and began. "Well Seth as I was saying a few minutes ago. You have to agree because if not then you will be letting yourself down, Team heelys, and you will let me down. Yes, I did get in contact with Hailey. I said yes but as long as you agree with me. I told her the deal and she said she thinks you will say yes. So IF and only IF you agree, Saturday, meaning tomorrow Saturday, there will be a demo at my skatepark. BUT I also made her another deal that if you say yes, there is something else that involves Team Heelys." He paused and Seth was anxious. "Dad...what else and whats the deal I need to make?" Mike finally continued as Seth stood there inpatient to wait longer. "I also said that they could practice anytime in out private skatepark in our yard when you want to and they also can practice at Comlink whenever they please. Now here's where you come in. All of this will happen if you agree to come back on Team Comlink and continue skateboarding no matter what happens in your heeling experience. AND I also want you to obey me more. I dont want none of this fight crap and running away stuff." Seth was very enthused and thought about it for a second and took a sip of his Coke. "Ok dad, its a deal. But you also need to tell Team Comlink that if we are outback practicing that they can't barge in and take over." Mike shook his head in agrement to talk to Arlon and the team.
