There's a couple of word's I've heard repeatedly from the Florida region that I can't figure out. One is a word (or words) which to my English ears sound like the English words "cone" and "yo" pronounced together as "cone-yo." Obviously it's nothing of the sort as I know there's a lot of people in Florida that speak Spanish, but I know we have a few fine folks from Florida here, and I'm guessing some will be able to tell me what these words mean.
There's another one that I could probably get straight from Google Language Tools, but we all know I wouldn't get the true story from that, and since I'm already here posting I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. The second Spanish phrase I'm I'd like translated is "Si Se Puede."

Um..... the first word is a bad word. So message me for the translation. It's an N~, not a NY that gives it that cone-yo sound.
The second, "Si se puede!" means "Yes, we/i/it can!" In the spanish version of "the little engine that could" instead of the train saying "Creo que si puedo" (I think i can.) The train says "Si se puede, si se puede". |

con-yo means with me but its bad spanish, it would be con-migo and i believe it becomes one whole word so its conmigo. If you wanted to you're going with someone its "Yo voy con el" notice the verb voy between yo and con you could also say, however, "El va conmigo" but it means He goes with me. The latter one is easier and a bit more correct then the first.
But what he means is there's a profanity that sounds like con-yo and i already pm'ed him what it meant. (It's actually spelt con~o) |
