That was some kick ass tech work there... Very nice and smooth combos, and the linking was crazzzy... I've always envied tech skaters... Their the ones that make the sport cool... Us street and vert skaters just break bones |

I'm still learning the exact definitions myself, and there's probably a little overlap with the other types of skating, such that what is and isn't technical skating is debatable, but I think it's when you smoothly link a load of flatland tricks together, hopefully making it look effortless.
At least that's my current understanding. |

In my book, Tech = Flatland. Thats the simplist way to look at it.
Tech/Flatland = Anything you do on flat land. Be it Footys, 180º (or larger) spins, Psycho's, Crabs, etc
Street = Quarter Pipes, Spine Pipes, Kicker Ramps/Fun Boxes, Rails... Anything you can really grind or get air on.
Vert = Strict restriction to Half Pipes, due to the fact that you go vertical when you ride on them...
