(Alternate name: The Superfriend)
I can't do this one myself, and I'm not sure if anyone can.
Basically, the goal of this trick is to make it look as if you're in a cartoon where they didn't bother matching the background animation to the foreground. You're walking/running, but at a different rate than you're actually moving. (You're taking slow steps but moving fast; you're running like crazy and moving slow). Extra bonus points if people have no idea you're on Heelys and do double-takes. |

Yeah I like this idea: you mentioned a version of it once before: the kind where you're doing really slow walking but heeling real fast. As you said, you'd have to be really good at doing manuals/footies to pull it off, and be able to footy on either foot equally, as well as keep balance between changing from left-footy to right footy. . . that would be mega hard - everyone I've ever seen do footys (even the people who do it well) have to put their body into a slightly unusual shape to keep balance, or use their arms - so that kind of the trick would definitely be mega hard to do whilst looking like you're doing a normal walk.
I'd imagine the other kind (appearing to be running with legs moving fast whilst actually standing still) would be a little easier. . . on smooth enough floors you could simply drag the toes back like I've seen the dancers who use Heelys do (Mike Buffo, or Flying Steps, etc).
You could start by heeling backwards but appearing to run forwards, to give it a "moonwalk" effect. |

Tuna do you ever read his posts? He said he cant do it and he is not sure if anybody can do it so how would he make a video?
Nice Idea Slicer, Maybe some advanced heelers might be able to do this. I know what you mean though you see it happen when scooby or shaggy run. The Background is going really fast but they are only doing a few steps. |

OK, tell us who's post you don't understand, and we'll try to put it in simpler terms. |

Make it look like you're on a conveyor belt (airport slidewalk) when you're actually not.
That a better analogy than the cartoon stuff? |

it's like when scooby sees a ghost he starts moving his legs but he doesn't go anywhere for a few seconds |

Nope.
Maybe Seth's confused because this trick is defined not by its cause (e.g. where you put your feet) but by its effect.
Heeling, in essence, is simply standing still and going fast. You're on the wheels, and rolling.
But with this trick, instead of simply standing still, you're taking a slow walk- but still going fast. (Alternatively, taking a fast run, and going slow, but that's probably harder) Your toes still don't touch the ground. |

@emma, what he said in that last part is almost exactly the same thing he said in the first post.
So um....speed walking? |

Have you ever seen scooby doo? You see when someone is running that the background is going really fast but they are only doing a few steps that could not possibly be making them go so fast. Thats what Slicer wants to happen. Be heeling fast and slowly do footies on both legs. (Watch some scooby doo to understand) |

Imagine the dance "The Running Man" Its where you run, but you're standing still... If you don't know what that is look up Admiral Ackbar Cereal on YouTube and its the dance he does in the kitchen.
Now this is what you're going to do... Start rolling... Then start doing the running man, but do NOT increase your speed.
The only other way I can interpret this is the opposite by going really fast, and then while going fast, try to make it look like you are walking at a normal pace. This means that you CANNOT touch your feet to the ground because it will mess up your speed. It has to be done soley on the wheels, so it will be like a footy switch pretty constantly...
Either one is going to be difficult to be done properly (actually look real, not slapped together so someone can say they did it) and if someone can capture it on film, it would be pretty cool... Either way you'll need a large stretch of flat land... |
