exactly, no ones heard of freelines. If they were in the retailer magazine retailers wouldnt know what they were and theyd probably think "oh sidewalk shoes are for those things...well no one knows what those things are so no one has them, lets not buy these shoes" Besides taht picture would only be advertising to the retailers not to the public.

hey is there Five-O model in other colors other than the one on heelys.com?

Look up Rails and GrindThis! Same shoe, different color schemes. If you wanted the camo, then I have no clue

guys, note that the pro series are listed under winter 08, i think we're in summer and winter in dutch is....winter so its not hard to understand that theyre not available yet *looks at kain*

As Sara pointed out earlier on the SB, the Black Pro Series are now available to own at Heeler Store.

I was very tempted to buy rightaway - I even made a quick trip to the next town (10 miles) to put cash into the bank my paypal pays out from, but on the way back to place the order I reconsidered.

My reason was this:
OK, the price is 135 euro + 20 shipping - which at current rates works out at $227 US dollars. I mean, sure they're a nice new shoe, and the wheel is supposedly a little harder than normal heelys wheels (but not as hard as megavertz) but I figure if i wait a while, they'll probably become available at more stores and for less. I already have Evo's and Torches which have the same sole/wheel/plate layout, so the only reason I could think of to buy now would be purely to be able to say "look, I got these!" - and to me, although I like having heelys, it isn't worth that much money to me just to have bragging rights.

So, I'm sure one day I will buy some Pro Series, but for now, I can't justify that amount of money for a style so similar to several pairs I already have. But of course if any of you don't have evo's or torches and want a nice new mega-grind shoe, and have a couple hundred bucks spare, go for it! Smile

First person to find these available in North America gets.. something. I don't know what. Bragging rights, maybe.

Anyways though, a flat plate huh? Does it hyper extend the shoe (like Evos) or is it flush?

The reason I am asking is for rocker slides. I used to do them in inlines where you would go to a smooth concrete (like a b-ball court) and just jump into a royale (no rail necessary). It looked cool as hell and it made it a nice way to transfer to a 90º turn

And as for 200 bucks for shoes, get outta here. 120 bucks tops and even thats pushing it
