Its not really how old you are, its your preference... Look at how Kain skates... He hits hard lines and flows through like he is going to KILL someone...
Me on the other hand, I skate as a flow... I try not to concentrate on what trick I'm going to do and just focus on landing something (which is why my vert can get repeatative)
Kain listens to metal, I listen to Blink 182 |

Growls: Death Metal, Yeah! *does heavy-metal handshake devil-horn thingy*
But yeah, liking death metal is not because Kain isn't a kid - in fact in my experience I'd say it's almost the opposite that's true...
As a Kid (say, 10 years old) I used to need to have death metal playing to go to sleep at night (totally serious)
As I grew up i began to gradually use less and less heavy music to sleep to, like Sepultura and Pantera, maybe older Metallica (the "black album" was always very relaxing to me) and nowadays all I need is the nice relaxing shushing noise of my air conditioner reassuring me that the room is at a constant 21 degrees
But yeah, I'd say as you get older, at least towards the end of the twenties, you tend to become more chilled and less "aggressively passionate" about things (for wont of a better term), at least I did in the music sense: I still love music, especially rock, but it doesn't thrill me as much as it did when I was a kid when I couldn't resist the urge to jump up and headbang (is what they called it in the UK before it began to be called "moshing") |

Headbanging is knocking your head up and down, twirling your long, sweaty, grimy hair in a circle.
Moshing is the same thing... but put razor blades in your hair and beat the shit out of people lol
I agree with ME though. I went through it, my brother is going through it now... I was a HUGE metal head (and I still am to a point). But now I have toned it down and listen to less angry music... Some people do stick with it the rest of their life. One guy I work with listens to nothing but chamber metal and he is in his 30's now... But I think his parents made him listen to country, so thats probably the reason ^_^ |

ROFL.
I have to say my hair is not at all sweaty, or grimy tho, LOL - in fact I just got out of the bath, and I've always used a lot of girly conditioners and shampoos, so it's squeaky clean, shiny and silky, although it is long lol. Right now my hair is only shoulder length, as I recently cut it, but in the past I've had it down to my ass

I prefer the mosh-pit game of running across the room as fast as you can, into someone doing the same thing in the other direction, preferably someone twice your size - and either seeing if you can manage to make them bounce backwards, or (more usually with someone as light as me) see how far you bounce backwards LOL. But nah, been to many a mosh-pit and never been beaten up or beaten anyone else up whilst there - in fact I've gotten more trouble at gigs for other styles of music strangely enough - I think the metalheads get all their anger out with the dancing, whilst the other guys are still pissed off lol. |

I've run into a twice-my-size guy in a pit when I was younger, both of us having fun.
My shoulder went INTO his shoulder, rather like hitting a pillow with a broomstick... |

lol, it was funny, I went to see Taproot in concert and the lead singer jumped down into the pit with us. I ran into him and he beat me in the head with the mic. It was pretty fun lol
I tend to stay out of the moshpits now though. Regardless of being fun, I broke my elbow and had to miss out on the rest of the SLipknot concert. Now when I go I just get there like 6 hours early and hang out so I can get a front row GA spot |
