No, the whole point of a Shirley Temple is that it is NON-alcoholic. If you put booze in it, it's instantly something else, like a Cosmopolitan or something. Here's a little wiki for ya:
Quote:
"A Shirley Temple is a non-alcoholic mixed drink made with ginger ale, grenadine syrup, and orange juice and garnished with a maraschino cherry and a slice of lemon.[1] The ginger ale is often substituted with 7 Up, Sprite, or similar lemon-lime soft drink, and the orange juice is commonly left out. It is often served to children dining with elders to let them share the experience of drinking a cocktail, which is why it is sometimes called a kiddie cocktail."

Time for a margarita, though. Wink

@ME - shouldn't it be the rainy season over there... Last time I was in the UK (North Ireland, but either way) like June - July was all wet...
LOL, July is supposed to be our hottest Summer month, but I can well understand why you could mistake it for "rainy season" LOL - the weather has been pretty crap here year round for the past couple of years. And to be honest, even in a good summer we don't get tons of straight days of sunshine like i've heard tell of happening abroad, there's always the odd shower.

The rainiest times of year are supposed to be in the Spring around April (hence the song, "Drip, drop, drop little April showers..." and Autumn(fall), probably around November (perhaps the inspiration for GnR's "November Rain"? lol) - but yeah, in truth it pretty much rains here every month.
