Hello everybody,

I was wondering what the easiest trick was or easiest one to start out with? I am new to heelying but Iam good at skating fast and getting bored of just doing same o same o Rolling Eyes . If people would tell me it would be nice!!!

Um also I dont have a sk8 park near me like the closes one is like a hour away in driving so that stinks!!! Evil or Very Mad But i do have a unfinished basement so I like rolling down there!!! Very Happy Pease reply back!!!

I think the crab walk and footie would be a nice trick to start off with. The switch is really easy once you have it down. If you go for a little more advanced, you could possibly learn different tricks into learning the first (like practicing the crabwalk, you learn the switch, etc).

Thats my opinion, but this is coming from the dude who breaks his bones trying advanced stuff

I think 180 and 360 are the easiest. Switch takes the time of learning a whole new skate stance.

Hello,

I did try the switch which was really easy because I can have each foot out front at differnt times! Iam gonna try going backwards next so thank you all so much!!!!

P.S. IVI4V3R1CK I looked up a footy and it didnt look easy to me or the crabwalk!!!

From a girl who had to go to the CHIROPRACTER because she almost broke her back with her heelys!!! But still love um!!!! Smile

well, you gotta know how to skate switch backwards to do a 180..
so switch and backwards are prolly the best to start on.

well, to me at least.......going backwards switch stance came naturally. idk why...they even said it in the tricktionary once, I think.....your backwards stance is supposed to be your forward stance switched. But learning to go forward switch is harder.

i've always found that, with the people i've taught, riding forward switch is easier than riding backwards. i dunt remember for me cuz it was so long ago. *shrug* each to his own, i guess.

I can go backwards a short ways but I get all wobble and my body automatically puts down my feet UGGGG!!! Well I keep trying!!!!
