i just recently purchased the heelys atomic style 71417.how do you change the bearings |

Use the axle, or something of similar shape, to wiggle the bearings out of the wheel.
Also, a lot of sites have it wrong that the Atomic takes 608s. It doesn't, it has the Fats wheels so it takes 688s. (This is annoying. These sites just copy and paste off each other without checking for accuracy at all...) |

If you have the coin axles that unscrew, yes. If they don't unscrew from each other, no. I think all of the new ones do. |

There are two kinds of FAT that you can do this to:
Coin Axle and Easy Axle
I don't think that they make Easy Axle anymore. If you have a C-Clip then you're out of luck. For the 688, I like BSD bearings. For 608, there all sorts of options. Lucky bearings are good. |
