I just started heeling In midJuly and have been quickly catching on. I live in Michigan and weathers starting to get bad. Any one with long term heeling experience ever lost alot of skills over winter, most outdoor skateparks close, and outdoor roads are to icy, I have a small hard floored basement which might have to be what I settle for however I hope you don't lose heeling skills as much as you lose math skills!

Hey with the right amount of insanity, knowledge of how to clean your bearings. You too can heely in the winter. We were bored one night, after downing some of my uncles home made wine and we came up with something better than sleding. I actually just came back here now that I've got my heelys back to being functional (I always rip the rubber) here in the burgh winter be a coming and lasts longer than the summer so you just gotta improvize.

Yeah, I was out a couple days ago in about a half inch, at a very empty skatepark. It wasn't the snow that made me go home, it was the thin layer of ice on everything, not to mention the sub-zero wind chill...
How do you rip the rubber? My grind plates are completely worn and the backs of both shoes are smooth, but I've never heard of anyone actually tearing the bottom of a shoe like that. |

| My guess is cause i'm 185lbs and they dont take the landings that well. Plus I wear them as regular shoes all the time, with the wheels in, I'm usually never without'em. |
