| Since most heelys use standard 608 skateboard bearings, I was wondering if there was a way to replace heelys bearings without getting new wheels. |

You have to have a small flat screwdriver and push it out.
Megas can accept 608 (Standard Skateboard Bearing)
FATS vary. Some take 608. Some take 688.

I was wondering how many bearings that seller is giving for each sale. If he's only giving one bearing for $7.99, then it's an incredibly bad deal. You need 2 bearings for each wheel, and u use two wheels in a pair of heelys, remember.
IMO, check out a skate shop (skate board/ski shops generally) and see how much they charge for bearings. Bearings normally come in sets of 8 (4 wheels' worth)... and I'd be surprised if they cost anywhere near what I perceive this seller to be selling. If I read it right, 8 bearings from the eBay seller will cost about $64, plus excessive shipping.
If someone has verified that the eBay seller is selling packages of 8 bearings for the $7.99, please post that. It's highly suspect for them to be that cheap, if it's full sets... and even more suspect if they're individual bearings.

Blank bearings are cheap. That's the truth.
Blank bearings maybe ABEC, but that doesn't mean much. You can still have a crappy ABEC 5/7/9 bearing. ABEC is merely a manfacturing tolerance for precision. Its not everything. For instance, the material counts for a lot.
